While there may be some destinations that are safer than others, the world is not as scary as some people might think. With a positive attitude and general street smart, there are plenty of places in the world where you can feel safe and secure yourself.

“One day,” you said to me, “I saw the sunset forty-four times!”
And a little later you added:
“You know - one loves the sunset, when one is so sad…”
“Were you so sad, then?” I asked, “on the day of the forty-four sunsets?”
But the little prince made no reply.

Even though Iceland's nickname of "The Land of Fire and Ice" is intimidating, traveling solo here is comfortable and easy. The city of Reykjavik is famous for its music scene and nightlife, so you will have no problem meeting locals and fellow travelers.

There are countless reasons to visit Iceland, but it is its natural beauty that steals the show. Join a tour and dive a snorkel or sylphra fisher and hike a glacier. And don't bathe on the beautiful blue lagoon!

With a view of the drop-door gorgeous mountains, the meadows of beautiful wildlife and the meadows set against the backdrop of the Rhine River, Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries.

If you are going to Switzerland in winter, the Swiss Alps and Interlaken are a must. If you are interested in seeing stunning architecture throughout the day, the barn gets an honorable mention for being so beautiful.

Geneva was one of my favorite places in Europe in my recent summer — with Lakeshore, Jet d'U, Parc de la Grange, and more, it's the perfect place to delve into Swiss culture.

On our way through New Zealand, we stop in the Tongariro National Park to have a look to that maintain.
Unfortunately we can’t walk over the mountain, because there where a thunderstorm in that days…

Australia is home to some of the most diverse wildlife and landscapes in the world, and was the destination of my first solo trip abroad. I explored The Outback and Uluru, rode the Ghani train and took a walk through Kata Tajuta and the Valley of the Winds.

You should also explore the big cities of Sydney, Melbourne and the stunning Gold Coast, but don't limit yourself - rent a car and hit the road.

With diverse marine life, some of the best diving in the world, incredible natural beauty, and a heavy vanilla scent that goes anywhere behind you, the islands of French Polynesia are a place you've never liked before.

It is truly SO breathtaking and a memorable destination that you want to return from year to year.

Ireland may not be known for great weather, but the Emerald Isle is a place for happiness and beer. Comfortable in a local pub, a football game or heading to the countryside for an incredible Irish experience.

Oryx, Namibia

Namibia is the ultimate road trip destination and spectacular destination throughout the year. Home to deserts and stunning beaches, this is one of my favorite Africa trips to date.

Located in Africa's largest conservation area, Sausswele is breathtaking. On my first trip to Namibia, I spent seven epic days in Namibia road-tripping. For my second trip, I explored the Skeleton Coast and stopped at Spitzkoppen Lodge!

Amsterdam, Netherlands
Known worldwide for its eclectic lifestyle and super chill out vibe, Amsterdam is a great place to hang out on your own. You have the canals to explore the city's unique culture and nightlife. Rent a bike and (definitely not) drive to some friendly and laid-back Dutch local.

Amsterdam's café and food culture has exploded, so it's a great time to visit!
