Let's start from the base. This is one of the most important features of Instagram and for your blog photos. Having a good background can make or break an image and will make your image more attractive. That means more likes and shares. So, how can you find them? This guide is here to help.

A brick wall

The contrast between the delicate plant and the brick wall, between the artificial light from above and the natural light coming through the window to the left, and the textures of brick and wood intrigued me. This photo is about contrasts and about negative space.

Cost? free!

Walk around the city or perhaps the side of your house. It makes the most beautiful backgrounds for your hands (I love hand photos ...) and makes your images pop.

White Rug

Cost? About $ 10- $ 100 for a fake.

I use it literally all the time. If you want to master Flatley, this is the perfect backdrop. I have it for less than $ 60. Don't just want white? Try this blue and white striped.

Your desk

Cost? Most likely free! Or $ 100. Check out this simple white desk for less

You probably also have a desk or table top that works. It's simple but one of the best backgrounds for your photos!

Wooden Background

Illuminated woods

Cost? Free or $ 20.

Don't you like the look of distressed wood? I do it! You can buy it on Amazon or go to your local Home Depot and buy some more. I like this ETC option for $ 10.

Blanket

Cost? Free - $ 25.

Chances are you have a blanket wrapped on your couch or on your bed. This is the perfect backdrop for your photos! Here is what is in my picture above me.

Foam Board

Cost $ 1-3

You guys, using foam boards is my favorite way to take classic "view from above" shots. Yes, I love a nice white desk, but using foam board is even better because you are able to move everything near a window and shoot easily from above (where from a desk you can shoot directly are doing!)

Candles

Cost? $ 4- $ 15.

Candles magically enhance your Instagram game. Whenever I draw a blank to round out my photo I add in a candle. Burn or burn, it's up to you. Bath & Body Works and Voluspa Candles are my favorite for photos.

Office supplies

Cost: Free or super cheap.

Chances are you have some post-its or pens, begging to be part of your Instagram photos. I love using scissors, planners, pens, notepads and pencils. Picture: My Fave Planner and Pain.

Fresh flowers

Cost: $ 5- $ 20

Want People to Pounce on Your Instagram Shots? Throw in some beautiful blooms. I like playing with whole bouquets or using some strategic flowers here and there. Some of my favorites? Carnations! They live forever!

Coffee

Cost: $ 1- $ 5

Sometimes it is awkward to just have your picture, the solution is simple - a cup of coffee. Whether in your favorite mug or from a coffee shop, you really can't go wrong.

Beauty Products

Cost: $ 1- $ 20

Need to add a little color to your image? Add in a beautiful lipstick or pink blush. Beauty products are packaged just as they are for some reason, you can also use them.

Books / Magazines

Cost: $ 1- $ 15

We all want to know what you are reading! You can stack them, open them where you have stayed or simply place it on the display. They also make great backgrounds!
