A 155 km drive from the city will bring you to this laid back, French architecture inspired town of Pondicherry. Later on, you could visit the perfect village of Auroville, Gingee Fort, Jawahar Toy Museum or the French War Memorial!
An offbeat location about 70 km away that has not yet caught the tourist eye, lies this jewel hidden away in the verdant forests of Andhra Pradesh. Nagalapuram is surrounded by lush hills and gurgling waterfalls. You could trek to the waterfall starting from the beautiful and serene Nagala Dam! Every bit of this treacherous trek is worth it when you see the crystal clear waterfall hidden away amidst the forest!
160 km away from the city lies the beautiful district of Chittoor with its naturally beautiful landscapes and rich historical heritage! While you’re in Chittoor visit the world’s richest temple – Sri Venkateswara Temple and the architecturally stunning Mogili and Ramagiri Temple. After your spiritual escapade you could visit the wild by heading to Kaundriya Wildlife Sanctuary. To get the best of nature you should trek up to Nagari Hills or visit the Kalavagunta Dam.
